FILM STUDY FOR OFFENSIVE & DEFENSIVE LINEMEN

Built on Division I film preparation—taught through a structured weekly system

Film Study Is the Least Developed Skill in High School Football

Most linemen are never taught how to actually study film. They watch plays. They look for highlights. Then they move on.

Nothing is evaluated. Nothing is learned. And the same mistakes keep showing up week after week on the field.

Film study is the biggest factor in how prepared a player is on game day.

The best players don’t just train more—they prepare better. They watch more film. They are more detailed. All of this gives them a seemingly super-human understanding what they’re seeing before the ball is snapped on Gameday - only it's not some super-human trait. It's a skill they have developed and honed.

At the Division I level, film study is not optional. It is structured so players know exactly what to look for and how to evaluate themselves and their opponents.

In fact, college starters spend just as much time watching film as they do practicing—meanwhile, almost all high school players don't know what they are looking at on film, because they have never been taught.

Our In-Season Film Study Program teaches offensive and defensive linemen how to grade their own performance and study their opponent’s film to expose weaknesses and gain a real edge. Film study is the fastest way to separate yourself—and we show you how in just 30 minutes a day.

"The Film Study Program at The OH Line Academy taught me how to watch film the right way—not just to see if I made a block, but to study my opponent and recognize their tendencies. Most high school players don’t really know how to break down film. These sessions helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses, improve my technique, and understand what I needed to fix. It’s made a huge difference in my development as an offensive lineman."
