There is a big difference between reaching the minimum requirements for your sport and reaching your potential.

​

The reality is, being more than average as a football player requires a commitment of more time and effort than just showing up and completing your workouts like everyone else. 

​

The average high school strength program is designed to improve the attributes of a team as a whole, but often at the expense of personalized coaching and programming for the advanced athlete.  Because of this, most high school strength programs are often not enough for developing elite football players. 

​

Our approach to strength training and injury prevention ensures you're prepared to perform at your best this season.

At The OH Line Academy, our strength training programs are optimized to the needs of football players. We improve strength

agility, speed, explosiveness, mobility, and injury resistance.

Our strength programs are guaranteed to correct imbalances, strengthen weak points, set personal records, and prevent injury.

POST SEASON KICKSTART

The period immediately following the season is crucial to assessing and strategizing a successful winter off-season  learn more...

Our 6-Week Post Season Kickstart program starts with an injury and performance evaluation screen by our resident athletic trainer to identify potential vulnerabilities and weak points, gather measurables to  and get your body ready for winter strength and conditioning and identify weakpoints.

This program includes

- Injury Screen and Assessment 

- Functional Performance Evaluation

- 6 Week General Football Preparedness Program

- Post Training Recovery

Program will be led by Coach Drake and Coach Tyrel

As a former D1 Offensive Lineman at The University of Iowa, Former Team Chiropractor at the University of Memphis, and a certified strength and conditioning coach, Head Coach Tyrel Detweiler has both extensive and broad knowledge on football training, strength training, and injury prevention.

YOUR BODY IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS WEAKEST PART.

When challenged, your body will protect itself by avoiding the weak points and adapting or compensating to survive. This compensation not only further weakens that point - it creates more weaknesses increasing the risk of injury. 

 

Our strength training program for offensive linemen addresses these weak points while building overall strength. Rather than just addressing one attribute at a time, we want to eliminate weak points, build size, increase speed, and grow strength - all at once.

 

Whether you require a complete training program, or additional workouts to fill in the gaps of your current high school program, we will build a strength program that addresses your specific needs as an offensive lineman.
